1. Krishna Janmasthan Temple

This temple is situated on the place where Lord took birth as a human being to get rid of the evil. As most of the people know that lord taken birth inside a prison. There is a stone bed, which is said to be the birth bed of Lord Krishna in Karagrah (prison).If you are a devotee of Lord Krishna, you must visit this place. The temple is very huge. The idols are so beautiful; you can spend a whole day watching them. Electronic equipment’s (camera, mobile phone etc.) Are not allowed inside the temple. The temple committee provides the locker facility to the devotees at free of cost.

2. Shri Dwarkadheesh temple

Dwarkadheesh temple is one of the oldest temple of Mathura vrindavan built in the year 1814. Dwarkadheesh is an another name of lord Krishna. Situated near the banks of river Yamuna. Thousands of devotees came here every day to experience the divine aura of the temple. Rajasthani architectural designs and carving of the temple showing the various aspects of the Lord's life makes the interior of temple a splendid one. Like the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Temple the electronic items are not permitted here. Holi and Janmashtami are the prominent festivals celebrated here with full enthusiasm. this temple is at a walking distance of 1.5 km from krishna janmasthan temple.

4. Kesava Deo Temple

Kesava Deo Temple is one of the sacred religious places located near the main Krishna janmasthan temple.The great temple was built by Bir Singh Deo Bundela during Jahangir’s regime. all important festivals are celebrated within the premises. Lathmar Holi is celebrated here with full enthusiasm. Other popular festivals that are celebrated here with zeal are Krishna Janmashtami

5. Prem Mandir

prem mandir it is amongst the top tourist attractions located on the outskirts of Vrindavan. a spiritual place with divine aura. this temple is also famous for its Rajasthani Somnath Gujarati architectural style. made of white marble and adorned with very adorable carvings. The foundation stone of the Prem Mandir was laid on 14 January 2001 by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj. an amazing event at the temple is the musical fountain show which starts every evening from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM. the colorful lights of the temple are so splendid. The lush green gardens, fountains, Sri Govardhan holding Leela, Snake Kaliya Leela are these things are displayed in the temple. the statues their are built in a way to portrait the incidences of lord krishna's life.

6. Maa Vaishno Devi Dham

an amazing temple of maa adhi shakti (durga). the temple is a famous for it's unique idol of Sherawali Mata , which is 141 feet long.Mobiles and leather bags/belts are not allowed to carry inside but arrangements have been made to deposit in safe lockers. No photography inside the temple but you can take picture of the big statue from distance. This is a must visit temple especially for those who have not yet paid a visit to original Vaishno Devi temple. the temple is made somewhat similar to vaishno devi shrine in jammu. the temple is at a distance of 5 km from prem mandir.

ISKCON or International Society for Krishna Consciousness was established in 1966 by Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada . The greater aim of the society is the general well being of man kind. However their aim is to popularize the teachings of the Bhagwad Gita and the Vedic scriptures. bhagwat gita is a Hindu scripture in Sanskrit that is part of the Hindu epic Mahabharata.

so they built many temples of lord krishna all around the world. this temple was the first temple built by the Iskcon cult in the year 1975. the temple was Made of marble and further decorated with pieces of stone. which makes it's look so alluring.

8. Radharamana Temple

radharaman temple was constructed around 1542 AD at the request of Gopala Bhatta Goswami.radharaman temple is among the 7 temples of Thakur ji of Vrindavan.this temple is at a walking distance of 2 km from shri krishna janmasthan temple. this temple is being worshipped for the belief that Lord Krishna revealed his holy presence on the full moon day of Vaisakhi. Every year, on this auspicious event, the idol of Lord Krishna is bathed with milk and various religious items and further distribute the bathed milk to the devotees as a token of blessing.

9. Nidhivan Temple

one of the best places to visit in Vrindavan, this temple is a treasure trove for both pilgrims and nature lovers. Mainly surrounded by trees where tree branches are either tangled to the each other or faced downwards, the locals believe them to be gopis, the queens of Sri Krishna. as soon as the sun sets no one is allowed to stay back because it is believed that Krishna and Radha along with the gopis perform Raas-Leela in nidhivan. devotees entry after evening is prohibited because it is believed that whosoever enters the forest after sunset either goes blind, deaf or dumb. nearby places are Gita Mandir, Shahji Temple, Kalki Mandir and Swami Hari Das Temple.

10. sri rangnath temple

vrindavan city is the land of temples. their are many famous temples and ashrams in vrindavan. and among various temples sri rangnath temple is the famous one. this temple was built in the year 1851 in dravadian style. the idols in this temples depicts the mahima (leela) of shri krishna. for ;shri krishna leela of sheesh naag.

in the month of march - April the temple receives large number of devotes on the occasion of the festival brahmotsav. on the last day of the festival god idols is taken out of the temple on a large rath( vehicle) for a religious ceremony. nearby temples are prem mandir, banke bihari mandir and radharamana temple etc .

11. Radha Vallabh Temple

Radha Vallabh temple is an symbol of the purest form of love between Lord Krishna and Radha Rani displayed in the rarest form of “Ras-bhakti”. this temple was constructed in 1585. goddess radha is the main deity in this temple. an interesting fact of this temple is that there is no formal puja or prayer is offered. instead a rigorous service to lord (seva ) is performed on day and night. the items used in bathing of the idol is collected after bathing and served among the devotees as a blessing of goddess. the main festival which is celebrated here with full enthusiasm are shri radha ashtami the birth-day of goddess radha. the festival is celebrated for 9 days. the festival comes in the month of august - september. nearby places are radharaman temple , prem mandir ,bankey bihari mandir ,krishna janmasthan temple.
