Rishikesh is a city in  northern state of Uttarakhand, in the Himalayan foothills beside the  River  Ganga.  the city is renowned as a center for meditation and studying yoga. as the city is in uttarakhand  it is famous for it’s natural beauty. mountains , hills , greenery , some fountains , river , temples and many more. there are many places to visit in rishikesh . rishikesh is at a distance of 275 km from the capital of india, delhi.  the destination is easily reachable either by bus  ,train  or through air.

  1. there are few trains to rishikesh . so in my opinion first reach haridwar by train and after that you can reach rishikesh by any vechicle. the distance b/w haridwar and rishikesh   is around 21 km .
  2. through air –  departure at jolly grand airport , dehradun . them take bus to rishikesh .the estimated distance is around 40 km.
